About Us
Dr. Kourtney Rivers
Raised in small town near the edge of the Carolinian forest. With only a short walk to a beautiful nearby river, she found many opportunities to be outdoors, exploring, playing and learning in that environment. She discovered at a young age the beautiful complexities of the natural world. Her parents patiently tolerated her love of animals, allowing many pets in their home and also helped her gain an understanding about the plethora of wildlife living around her. This childhood created a foundational appreciation of the power of the natural world and the amazing impacts animals can have on our wellbeing. She has rediscovered the healing power of nature and and the regenerative forces of the natural world after experiencing firsthand the limitations of conventional healthcare. Her quest for further health treatment options kickstarted her journey rediscovering the power of food as medicine, the benefits of herbal formulations, supplements, homeopathy and acupuncture.
